Wenzhou Rural College was founded by the Publicity Department of the Wenzhou Municipal Party Committee and the Wenzhou Bureau for Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and is hosted by Wenzhou Business college.
Wenzhou Rural College takes advantage of WZBC’s academic strengths and resources, and uphold philosophy of synergy between agriculture and commerce and promote agriculture through commerce. The vision is to double the number of rural educated talents, improve village environment, realize prosperity and the continued revitalization of rural economy through application-oriented curriculum, hands-on field teaching, roadshow project kickstart, interactive policy interpretation, and follow-up services.
In over one year since it was established, Wenzhou Rural College has organized a dozen workshops and training programs for over a thousand attendants, both at the city and county levels. It has carried out over ten specialized research on rural planning and revitalization for various districts and counties.
